OCIA
Are You Interested in Becoming Catholic?
Or are you curious about the Catholic Faith? Then OCIA is for you!
What is OCIA?
The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is a journey of faith where you can:
-
Learn about the Catholic Church
-
Grow in your relationship with Christ
-
If you choose, receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation at the Easter Vigil
OCIA is more than a program—it’s a spiritual journey experienced in community but unique to you.
Who Is OCIA For?
Everyone!
Non-Catholics
For those who are not Catholic, baptized or not. Come, learn, ask questions, no commitment required. If you decide, you can prepare to receive Baptism, Confirmation, and Communion.
Catholics
For Catholics who have not received Eucharist or Confirmation. Discover the grace and strength of these sacraments in your life.
If your child is over 7 years old and needs Baptism, we have the Rite of Christian Initiation adapted for Children (RCIaC).
Those Who Want to Grow
For Catholics who wish to deepen their understanding of the faith or support someone seeking it.
