Choosing Your Sponsor

You do not journey alone within the Catholic Community. Along the way, you make ties with other persons who demonstrate in their lives what it means to be Catholic. A confirmation Sponsor is someone who stands up for you before the community, presents you to the bishop, and witnesses the anointing with the chrism. But the sponsor’s influence in your life continues after the celebration. The sponsor should be someone you can turn to for help and guidance as you continue the journey of faith in the years ahead. The meeting for sponsors is Sunday, November 13 at 1 pm. This meeting is for sponsors only, not for the students. *We petition sponsor’s to provide the Bible and Gown for candidate,

this is through Holy Cross for $35.

*Welcoming rite January 29. Sponsors are requested to attend.
